Megan & Daryl in Cambridge, MD

Megan & Daryl in Cambridge, MD
Megan and Daryl hosted an Asian seaside wedding on the Maryland shores.
The guests, who walked away with paper fan wedding favors, were asked to dress casually and in something red since that color, according to Asian tradition, represents good luck.
The local paper for weekly attractions and events was bundled up with various tourist brochures, wrapped in red ribbon sealed with a seashell and silver-colored rings, and placed alongside Chinese take-out boxes filled with wildflowers in the guest rooms at the inn.
Megan carried a soft, velvety bouquet of cockscombs. Red gerbera daisies (purchased at a local farmer‘s market) floating in water in white rice lotus bowls served as centerpieces.
Megan and Daryl wanted an intimate wedding that incorporated the groom's heritage and the wedding location. The solution? An Asian-inspired theme with an Eastern Shore twist.

The Bride Megan Morse, 27, clinical research associate
